Donate to Heart Street

Seeking offerings from others is the most difficult thing to do, knowing that we all have our own needs, hardships and sorrows. Perhaps these words by Pat who works at Saint Mary's can articulate what and why heart street and heart street pantry are what they are.

"As you know, when I first came to visit the home and people you care for, I was in awe of what you have done. I cried very much. I had been in that home before and to see that you gave it life, color, structure and love was such a beautiful thing for me to behold. As I expressed to you, what gave me the greatest joy was that you do what you do so quietly and humbly. I hold you and those who live in your home in a special place in my heart."

It is not about us as individuals; it is about the people who come to the windows with their eyes frightened and ask to be salved. They come, day and night, night and day, to find...a home...food to eat...a sense of belonging. Today, this day, I write simple words...25 people were fed from the food pantry and, of course, the house had all its needs met from love to lotion.

Please, if you can help we would appreciate it...if you need we are here. And if we both meet...community will be found.
